Aveley Secondary College is excited to announce the use of the ‘Compass School Manager Parent Portal’. We have recently transitioned over to Compass as our School Management Platform and will now be introducing the Parent Portal.
Using our Parent Portal, you will be able to:
- View up-to-date class and school attendance information
- Approve or enter upcoming or past absences for your son/daughter
- Update your registered email and mobile number (used for SMS alerts) details
- Access information regarding upcoming events and news
- Communicate with your child’s teachers more easily
Later when the full roll out occurs you will be able to:
- Access your child’s Student Progress
- Book your Parent/Student/Teacher conferences
- Pay school fees, charges and contributions
- Download, print and approve upcoming excursions
Accessing Compass
Compass is a web-based system that is accessible on any modern web browser or by using the ‘Compass School Manager’ app available for iOS or Android.
In the coming weeks, you will receive an email containing your log in details and instructions for the Compass Parent Portal. Upon the first login, you will be required to change your temporary password and confirm your email address and mobile phone number. It is strongly suggested that you download the app now, prior to being sent these login details.
