Introducing Megan Brond
Introducing Megan Brond, who has already shown with her time at Aveley Secondary College, what a caring and skilled educator she is.
Hi everyone, my name is Megan Brond, and I am excited to be joining the Education Support Hub (ESH) at Aveley Secondary College. I recently completed my Bachelor of Education Primary at Edith Cowan University, specialising in Education Support. During this time, I had been working as a Full-Time Education Assistant at Aveley Secondary College in ESH since it’s opening. I am very passionate about teaching, and I am eager to have the opportunity to support each students’ individual needs using an array of approaches. During my studies, my priority had been researching, observing, and implementing a selection of teaching strategies because above all, different students require different supports.
My teaching philosophy is inspired by evidence-based teaching practices and the necessity for positive learning environments. I believe that creating a classroom where students feel they are supported academically and emotionally is pivotal to their development not only as a student but as a person.
I look forward to working with the team at Aveley Secondary College.
