Pastoral Care Information

Support during Connected Learning and COVID 19

The COVID- 19 pandemic has created a lot of uncertainty.  Between the non-stop media coverage, the physical distancing guidelines, business closures and connected learning, we know it’s a very challenging time to be parenting a teenager.  Your child’s wellbeing is paramount as they deal with so many changes to their everyday life.  We need to work together to ensure your child is receiving a level of pastoral care that ensures they are supported during this time. Homeroom teachers and Student Services personnel will be available every day to support your child via various communication platforms.  In the event where you would like to speak to student services personnel, we will be available during work hours from 8.30am to 2.40pm on the below email addresses.

Life for your child is continuing to change and it can be really difficult to know how to talk to your teen about coronavirus (COVID-19), especially if you’re feeling anxious about it yourself.  Refer to the The Triple P- Parenting Top Tips for Parents and Carers in Uncertain Times.  This is a great resource to assist you in supporting your child through Covid- 19 and connected learning.  Another useful resource is The Reach Out website
