The Student Leadership Team at Aveley Secondary College are selected by a staff panel that includes the Principal, Deputy Principals and Program Coordinators. These students promote the values of the College by showing respect to all staff and students and the broader community, modelling responsibility to their year groups, displaying appreciation through leadership opportunities and striving for perseverance with a positive mindset. The Student Leadership Team actively participate in a range of student leadership activities, including;
- Participating in College Board meetings with the Principal
- Speaking at Year Assemblies
- Attending Student Leadership Meetings
- Volunteering for College service events
- Leading fundraisers
- Participating in Student Leadership Forums
- Organise and assist at College sporting events.
